Coming in June

Senior Social for all GLBT seniors and the organizations that support them.

Gay and Gray in the West and The Center need your help. On Monday, June 2, 2008, we are hosting a social gathering for GLBT seniors at The Center, where you will be invited to join a focus group to help us research GLBT seniors' needs and what we can do at The Center to address them.

Bring your ideas, enjoy the company of others, and help us plan to make The Center responsive to all of us as we age.

Attention Alzheimer's Caregivers

If there is sufficient interest, we will host a series of educational programs by the Alzheimer’s Association for GLBT caregivers of people with memory disorders. If you want to attend, please specify this program by leaving us a message on the GGITW phone line.

Gay and Gray in the West is a grassroots organization dedicated to understanding and planning for the impending bubble of gaybie boomers reaching retirement age and beyond.

It's been 35 years since Stonewall and we've come a long way but we've still got a ways to go.

Now is the time to prepare to do it as gracefully as possible as the first wave of us are entering our 5th decade on the planet.

Our Mission:

Gay and Gray the West is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people and allies dedicated to combating ageism and homophobia while supporting and facilitating all aspects of our aging through advocacy, education and services.
